PALMDALE – The pedestrian who was fatally struck on a highway bordering on or within the Angeles National Forest has been identified.
He was 21-year-old Steven Castillo Sanchez, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Sanchez was struck around 7:25 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, at 32101 Angeles Forest Highway, south of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway and north of Mt. Emma Road, the CHP reported.
It was unclear if the driver remained at the scene, and the cause of the crash was not immediately known. No further information on the crash was immediately available.
