ROSAMOND – A suspected thief was arrested, and drugs and stolen property were seized when deputies conducted a traffic stop shortly after a burglary in Rosamond, authorities said.

Kenneth Iannalfo, 34, of Rosamond was arrested on suspicion of narcotic sales, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of stolen property, and burglary, according to a news release from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.

The burglary happened Saturday, March 11, on the 1200 block of Orange Street in Rosamond.

Iannalfo allegedly fled the scene prior to the arrival of responding deputies.

“Deputies located his vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near 15th Street West and Rosamond Boulevard. Iannalfo was taken into custody without incident,” the news release states.

“During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a large amount of currency, over 50 grams of methamphetamine, 23 suspected morphine pills, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property related to the burglary,” the news release states.

Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to contact the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110 or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040.

This bust might be the biggest single event in Rosamond history. The place where peace and quiet is a bottomless pit.
