PALMDALE – A man in his 30s was shot to death outside an apartment complex in Palmdale Sunday night, authorities said.

The shooting was reported around 8:31 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 25, on the 1000 block of East Avenue Q, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

“Deputies from Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded… regarding a gunshot victim call… When deputies arrived they found the victim, a Hispanic male, 30-35 years of age, unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper torso,” the news release states. Video from the scene showed the man lying motionless under a staircase at the Arbor apartment complex.

The victim was treated by the Los Angeles County Fire Department and pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released pending next of kin notification.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting were not immediately available, and the incident remains under investigation.

“There is no suspect or suspect vehicle information at this time,” the sheriff’s news release states.

When will Sheriff Departments BE UPDATED WITH NOW TECH?..That way the forms to be filled out can be done online or in computer form and maybe individuals can have direct access to communication for what’s being done ..I believe more than half of crimes are recorded but by the time officers investigate footage is gone or & Culprits get away

This is sad, so many criminals walking free in the AV, they never seemed to be caught, even though most apartments have surveillance cameras, the criminal needs to pay for his crime!!!

Deborah how can you say this person was garbage? This person was someone’s friend or brother, son, etc.. so to say garbage is downright cruel, especially on Christmas day so sad.
