LOS ANGELES – A security team for the recently defeated Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey was involved in an officer-involved shooting outside her home Saturday after someone tried to steal a car there.

The shooting and attempted theft of the security vehicle happened around 6:20 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, in the 17900 block of Mayerling Street in Granada Hills, a police dispatcher told City News Service.

According to police, the security detail had two cars outside Lacey’s home. As a security officer exited one of the cars, two suspects pulled up in their own vehicle. One then tried to get into the empty security vehicle, prompting the officer-involved shooting.

Lacey was not involved.

The two suspects fled without being struck by gunfire, the dispatcher said.

Their descriptions were not available.

No further information on the incident was immediately available.

And after the suspects left, they returned back to their peaceful BLM protest complaining about injustices and whining about inequality. Go figure.

Soon they will be rewarded by the governor for committing a crime with no injuries. The security guards will be fired and shamed on social media for not peacefully giving up the vehicle.
