LANCASTER – Three suspects allegedly involved in a Lancaster gas station shooting Wednesday morning that left a woman in critical condition were arrested in Anaheim less than 12 hours later, authorities announced.

The shooting happened around 12:53 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at the Mobil gas station in the 800 block of East Avenue I.

Responding deputies found the woman, who is between 20 and 30 years old, sitting in the driver’s side of a car and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her upper body, according to a news release from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.

“The woman’s child, a 1-year-old boy, was also located in the vehicle. While he was in the car during the assault, he was unharmed,” the news release states.

Lancaster and Palmdale Operation Safe Streets Bureau (OSS) detectives responded to the scene and began an investigation.

“During the investigation, detectives identified three suspects believed to be involved in the robbery/shooting. The suspects were located in the city of Anaheim by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department surveillance units. After a short vehicle pursuit by the Anaheim Police Department, the suspects were apprehended,” the sheriff’s news release states.

The names of the suspects were not immediately released; they were identified only as two men and one woman in their 20s.

“Evidence of the crime was seized during a follow-up search warrant, including a firearm. Based on the information gathered, detectives believe the female suspect acted as [a] friend and set up the victim, the sheriff’s news release states.

All three suspects were arrested, transported and booked at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station on suspicion of attempted murder, sheriff’s officials said.

UPDATE: The three suspects were identified as 20-year-old Dwight Gibbs, 23-year-old Dawuan Washington, and 20-year-old Amya Malbrue.

… you’re being obtuse. Those, like you, prone to constantly overplaying the race card, do so from lack of discipline, intellect, wherewithal, and abysmal problem solving skill. It’s doubtful you could think your way from a paper sack –

I feel sorry for you Ron, I really do. I have read your comments over time and all I see is someone who needs help. You have tunnel vision and you talk about white power which is in reality doublethink, justifying your dominance because you feel victimized. At this point in your life you are not teachable, but possibly in the future.

Well maybe if the 13% would pull up their pants and learn to behave and stop committing crimes, thinking everybody owes them . Maybe its their ghetto behavior the problem. They will continue to get shot by the cops until they make some major changes. Its the Ghetto Gangster Culture. They are the only ones who can fix it. They are the problem. Not the Police.

unfortunately people envy and hate, especially those who grew up in families without dads. these people are easy to manipulate, which is what happens. Whites hate blacks and blacks hate whites. AND ONLY IN JESUS, skin color does not matter. We will all die and stand in God’s judgment and will be responsible for everything

It’s time to leave Lancaster. It’s turning into Compton. Shootings every day, thugs bullying people everywhere.Just yesterday I saw a thug riding his bike in the middle of the street. I had to stop and swerve around him. The car behind me stopped and because of that the thug pulled a gun out and shot out his windows just for having audacity to question the mans privilege Lancaster was never great but it was safe, until now

Let’s hope old DuWann, Tavares and Aristotle-Romeo pay a stiff price for taking a shot at Rasheeda! But on the other hand, had they chose to simply cuss her out instead then hey…maybe the “community” and “community leaders” might have seen things different!
