Dear Readers,
After more than a decade of serving the Antelope Valley, we have made the difficult decision to close The Antelope Valley Times. The site will no longer be updated, but all past articles will remain accessible. Thank you for your loyalty and support over the years.

I’d rather have the detectives time investigating violent crime. There’s plenty in the Antelope Valley to investigate. If High Country Feed is going to have a couple $3000 birds in their store I suggest they get a $10,000 security system and a very secure building. As far as I know this could have been a smash, grab, and gone in minutes crime.

Cockatoos go for about $3000.
