The fatal collision occurred around around 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27, on Soledad Canyon Road, east of Indian Canyon Road, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

Jackson was driving a 1998 Toyota Avalon eastbound on Soledad Canyon Road when she lost control of her vehicle.

“Preliminary investigation determined the vehicle veered to the left, off of the roadway, and struck the drainage ditch culvert on the west road edge and overturned.  [Jackson] was ejected from the vehicle where she collided with the roadway,” the CHP report states.

This collision is still under investigation, but alcohol and/or drugs are suspected to be a factor, according to the CHP report.

Anyone with information on this collision is encouraged to contact CHP’s Newhall Office at 661-294-5540.

… yet, another oversized wheel fatality. FAIR WARNING: Once over the 17″ wheel diameter threshold, your likelihood of a rollover exceeds 50% –

So you’re saying a sedan/coupe with 17″ wheels is at greater risk of roll over??? If the wheel radius increases the tires sidewall height decreases so you end up with pretty much same overall rolling diameter . Plus a shorter side wall is a lot stiffer then a tall bulbous tire leading to less sidewall deflection during hard cornering increasing tire grip.

She was too young and happy. With a bright future ahead. Too sad to accept that this happened. RIP Red Cristina. May you find peace.

I hope they got most that info right for the families sake… It’s sad to me the collision is still under investigation and they can say that they “suspect” drug/alcohol use… They should make sure of that before it’s said and even then that doesn’t mean that it was the cause… It’s easy to make assumptions when you don’t know and to slap a tag on it a say “single vehicle collision “… I pray for her and her family and hope my words don’t offend them but I lost a family member the same way and it’s frustrating and hurtful about what is allowed to be published…

thank you Iana.I am her cousin and I can confirm the coroner said they didnt find drugs or alcohol in her system.
But, I was told by Sheriffs that every single person car accident is automatically under investigation for drugs or alcohol.
