LANCASTER – Sheriff’s homicide detectives were called to a Lancaster park Tuesday to investigate the death of a 35-year-old man, a sheriff’s deputy said.
Deputies were sent at 6:50 a.m. to Jane Reynolds Park at 716 W. Oldfield Street, said Deputy Amber Smith of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
“The man was pronounced dead at the scene,” Smith said.
Detectives were investigating the circumstances of the unidentified man’s death, she said.
How he died was not disclosed. The man appeared to have been homeless, sheriff’s officials said.
