Help Palmdale detectives catch breast pump thief

PALMDALE –If you recognize the suspect in these images, then Palmdale Sheriff’s Station detectives would like to hear from you.

The suspect is wanted for grand theft and robbery.

He is accused of burglarizing several Target stores in the Los Angeles County area, according to Deputy Jodi Wolfe of the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station.

“His method of operation is to enter the store, select multiple Medela breast pumps (ranging from $170.00 to $400.00) and switch the UPC scanning labels with a significantly less priced Medela item,” Wolfe stated. “Many Target stores have been affected by these thefts and have alerted other Target stores about this individual and his motives.”

The suspect was recognized recently while leaving a Los Angeles area store with Medela pumps, according to Wolfe.

“Just before the suspect exited the store, loss prevention approached the suspect to question him about the merchandise,” Wolfe stated. “The suspect became combative and physically assaulted the loss prevention officer before running out of the store.”
