Dikkii Nunley, 48, of Palmdale, was pronounced dead at 10:05 p.m. at the scene of the collision, which occurred on the 1700 block of East Palmdale Blvd., according to coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

The case was being investigated as a possible suicide, Winter said, citing the preliminary investigation.

“The reported information is he [Nunley] was seen on a road kneeled down in front of a moving vehicle,” Winter said.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s Lt. Frank Quichocho said the truck’s driver was not detained.

My condolences to the Nunley family. Keep your heads up and don’t listen to these bad comments everyday there’s someone without any knowledge on here down talking the ones who have passed and can no longer defend themselves.. Don’t listen to them I found it easier to ignore them and not give in to there nonsense. Because these people would’ve never said any of this if Dikkii was here. I guess they don’t know that Dikkii was a good person, but as his family you do. If you know him you know how he was. Rest In Peace Dikkii.

You two would be the only ones to say something so stupid and dumb and immature. Your guys life is so sad, that the only thing you have better to do is try and clarify this. Technically as sad as it is to say dikkii and our mother were still married so go [removed] yourself. Going try and blast someone on here. I got so much to say about your [removed] it wouldn’t be a plight thing to say here on dikkii’s page. Sorry to say but as much bull crap Debbie had to endure during the 19+ years of marriage believe me when I she was just as stupid as any of you other nunley’s. Like someone really wants to think the nunley’s is some kind of house hold name, don’t kid yourself. But if you want to keep on trying to set the record straight believe me I’ll set it straight about any of you [removed]. The nunley’s what joke, why don’t you go and clean yourselves up. Say something again and I’ll really set the record straight about the nunley’s

Heavenly Father, I come to You now in the Name of our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.

Father, help us to let go of all bitterness and resentment. You are the One Who binds up and heals the broken-hearted. We receive Your anointing that breaks and destroys every yoke of bondage. We receive healing by faith according to Your Word Isaiah 53:5, “and with His stripes we are healed”. Thank You for sending Us Your Holy Spirit, We acknowledge the Holy Spirit as our wonderful Counselor!
Thank You for helping Us work out our salvation with fear and trembling, for it is You, Father, who works in us the will and to act according to Your good purpose.

In the Name of Jesus, we choose to forgive those who have wronged us. we choose to live a life of forgiveness because You have forgiven us. we repent of all resentments, bitterness, rage, anger, brawling, and slander, along with every form of malice. we desire to be kind and compassionate to others, forgiving them just as in You did Lord by sending Your Son Christ Jesus forgave us by shedding his blood on Calverys tree by dying for our committed sins so that we can be forgiven.

Help us to make the effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy.
we know that without holiness no one will see You (LORD).
I pray that we all will not enter into temptation or cause others to stumble.
I declare that we have overcome resentment and bitterness by the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Word of our testimony. Amen!
        In Christ Jesus Name Amen!
        One Love :)

        February 20, 2015 at 10:25 am

        Good morning, Deborah!

I will continue to pray for both families.
I will ask the Lord, in Christ Jesus Name to reveal who was behind it all with Dikkii departing from his family in the physcial.
Family of Dikkii continue to investigate through prayer, so the Lord can revealed.
        To Dikkii Son, and Daughter,
        Romans 12:17-21.
Repay no one evil for evil.
Have regard for good things in the sight of all men.
If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written,” Vengeance is Mine, I will repay”, says the LORD.
        Therefore;
        If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
        If he is thirsty, give him a drink (meaning Water);
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”
Do not be overcome by evil, but “overcome evil with good.

This would be what Your Dad would want you to do, if he was still here in the physical ream with you. You know your dad was not a evil person.
Let those who accused him (your dad),{GOD,} he’ll take care of them.

Words of encouragement to the Family, Be strong through prayer, Prayers will continue to go forward for your family, and the other family from me.
Do not let the devil take the joy from you, and think of the GOOD TIMES you had spent with Dikkii Nunley okay.
        One Love :)

Actually no we hadn’t tried to reach out to the drive. We’re grieving our lost. We believe dikkii might have been drugged. If that’s what the post a few down mean. Dikkii was not a suicidal person, please understand that. As for the driver we are very sorry what happened to him we know that this has changed the rest of his life and we’re very sorry for that. We feel so awful for him. This wasn’t his fault and we know he didn’t ask for any of this. We have no anger or hatred for this man. I believe the family of dikkii’s would like to reach out to him and his family but right now with all do respect the driver is still living. Right now we’re just trying to get through the day with all the memorial services and car washes, trying to raise any kind a funds we can so that Dikkii can rest in peace. Then after all of this we can try and reach out to this man who asked for none of this. Please just keep the nasty comments to your self and at least think about his only daughter who has to read this. Thank you

Okay… As for many if you imbeciles who haven’t experienced a suicide of someone close to you, you need to shut the f#&@ up. This is the absolute hardest death to deal with. There isn’t any answers, you are left clueless, you have many questions, and half the time you had no idea someone was feeling they were ready to not be her on earth. However sometimes those that have taken their own life didn’t even know that they were not ready to not be on earth. It’s called mental illness, depression, sometimes drugs are involved but not always. What happens someone gets in this “funk” that “normal” people think should just shake it off and other times the person who is struggling thinks they’ll be fine. They don’t realize there is help for them. But with that being said, one who is depressed, and is so depressed, they’re body takes over their mind and a rationalizing goes out the window. Dikkii was an awesome guy with words of encouragement, wisdom, great hope and love for God. So to say he was selfish in including another innocent individual, maybe you should learn a thing or two about mental illness. R. I. P. DIKKII YOU ARE MISSED!!!!
And to the Nunley family, my heart and prayers go to your healing. I have been in a handful of suicide deaths of very close people to me, and it’s one that doesn’t seem to get easier to understand. I’m so sorry for your loss.
And don’t listen to the mean rude comments of the ignorant.

I know that there is people out there that will befriend a person, and lead them back to an apartment or house, where there is a get together going on, and it makes the person think its a party or kick-back, when its really a set-up to get the person drunk and drugged to ROB them of everything they got, even there ID, SSN, and sometimes threaten to beat them up. Someone told me that they went to an apartment and there was a woman who kept giving him alcohol he told me, and then all of a sudden he got kicked out. I’m thinking because they couldn’t find any money in his pockets that day, so he had to go. I just wish that person would of told me where this apartment was, because I would of reported in a quickness.

This comment is just so confusing to me and I can’t even begin to try and understand what your trying to say. If there is something that you know that might be able to give our family some kinda of close please share. Anyone who knew Dikkii knew that he could never do something like this, he loved his daughter, his grandson and his family to much to have done something like this sober. So please if there is something you need to share please do and try to help give some closer to our family. Thanks

      Dear Nikkii Nunley,

A person that has never had this to happen to you, you will never understand or feel our pain.

I’m feeling your pain. My dad 33yrs ago ended his life self willing. it’s okay to cry there is nothing wrong with that, because he will be missed dearly, and you and your dad had that father/daughter relationship which most daughters don’t have with their father. My sister and me had the same kind of father/daughter relationship and he was always there for us.
Your Dad was well Loved by so many people at his work place, and was well respected no matter what race of people. GOOD SPIRIT, and if he was going through something, he really didn’t show it.
I’m glad that I was able to meet him and talk to him giving words of encouragement with GOD in the mist of our conversation.
Be Strong, my family we are Praying for You, Your Brother and the whole Nunley families, friends, and Love ones.
Be Blessed Today and everyday from this point on.
      Happy Heart Day!
      One Love:)

Danny- I find it very sad on what happened to Nunley. I give my condolences to his family and friends. I feel for the person who had hit him. (DANNY):Nobody knows what was going on in this mans life. Why speculate and start calling this man names when he is not here to defend himself, is that fair (who’s the coward now). People can live a normal life laugh, play, cry just like everybody else does, but nobody knows what lies on the inside of someone. Let’s just say for argument sake he could have been fighting a mental illness that nobody knew, not even him and that is possible. Mental illness is nothing to joke about, it plays on your mind, body and soul and some people who experience it most don’t have any clue what is going on with them and ignore the signs because they don’t know what it is they need to look for. Would you know what to look for? What is going on in your life? Do you tell everybody about your life? Please Danny have a heart pray for Nunely he R.I.P and give Condolences to his family, friends who is suffering the loss of their loved one. Pray for the healing of the person who hit this man.

      Luke 15:7
“I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents” than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
      God knows Dikkii did.
      What about you ?

What a traggic loss. I never met this man but I am sad that he was so broken inside. I hurt for the family left behind. I wish I would have been on that road at that time. I wish I would have seen his first attempts to enter that road…in hopes that I could have stopped him. So many people so desperate to end the pain in their lives. May God give strength to the family and his friends during thus very troubling time :_

Mrs. Nunley I am truly sorry for your lost I prayed that night and everyday since then for the authorities to find his family. You see in 2008 my father was murdered by what they call a hit and run driver and the driver never to be found I have struggled with that everyday since. I don’t know what was troubling Mr. Nunley or why he choose to do what he has done but he has left a huge impact in my life forever I don’t understand it I don’t know why he wouldn’t move I keep asking why! Why! Why would he do that someone loves you someone cares I even cared and I was a stranger I don’t know why he didn’t move all I know is he is the only thing I see every night since this has happened and I am now afraid of the dark because I see him I went home that night praying for him and his loved ones he choose to leave behind. I will always fray for Mr. Nunley and his family I tried calling 911 that night @9:41 but they didn’t answer I called again @9:42 when they finally answered
I’m truly sorry for your list and only hope you find closure though you may never understand I hope it helps to know what happened I seen it all and will never be able to erase it from my mind

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You now in the Name of Our Lord and savior Christ Jesus.
We pray for myself and everyone that we prayed for today and I ask that You will send forth Your Word to heal the Nunley Family, Friends and Love ones at this time of need to Dikkii Nunley that is no longer in Our Presents.
      Comfort them at this time.
Heavenly Father, We thank you that when we declare a thing; that you will establish it for us and light will shine on our ways according to Job 22:27,28.
In the Name of Christ Jesus of Nazareth, we pray with Thanksgiving AMEN!

This is for the one’s whom are speaking negative of Dikkii Nunley,
(“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, an dis discener of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”)
      HEBREW 4:12 KJV.
Met Dikkii at Universal Fitness, and this is what I can say about( HIM ) at his job site:
Everyone Loved him their, he was well known and it didn’t matter who you were, he was willing to help. Very hard worker.
He was Caring to the people that visit the fitness center, showed kindness toward the customers at the fitness center, Always had his smile on, he showed alot of respect to everyone. the only way you could tell when something was wrong was when he was quiet. Me:you kool, (Dikkii: Yeah). Lol!
Dikkii Nunley You Will Be Missed, but You’re with our Father in Heaven. :)
Becareful what you say about other’s, GOD IS WATCHING YOU AND YOUR HEART.
      One Love!

Soooo sad. This really sucks, I was just wondering yesterday, why I hadn’t seen him in a couple weeks, where was he?
He was such a nice guy. Made friends with so many. Always a pleasure to talk to, Outgoing and motivational. I wish he could have talked about what was going on with him. ” Maybe” someone could’ve helped?
    R. I. P.
My thoughts and prayers to his family and loved ones. A passing of a loved one this way is the hardest to deal with. I’ve been there. :( May God comfort you during this tragic time.
