In a story on Sept. 26, The AV Times introduced Danielle “Dynamite” Taylor – an undefeated mixed martial arts professional making a name for herself in the once male-dominated arena. On Oct. 2, the 26-year-old Antelope Valley resident soundly defeated Maria “The Real Deal” Andaverde in the King of the Cage competition at San Manuel Casino.
“She put on an MMA clinic against her opponent, landing big shots and dazing her numerous times,” said promoter Fritz Rodriguez. Dynamite won via unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring the fight 30-27, Rodriguez added.
The fight improves Dynamite’s record to four wins and no losses.
