Empty Chair Obama will begin a three-state bus tour. I believe the three states are confusion, delusion, and desperation.

Lier-In-Chief Obama’s re-election slogan — ‘Forward.’ That’s a good message for Obama. He’s telling voters, Whatever you do, don’t look back at all those campaign promises (LIES) I made.

and you really think a vulture capitalist will help you? He’s running for resume purposes. Open your eyes. he’s no different than any conservative that holds stocks, in it for lobbying and self retirement havens. has no moral disregard for the common person, which doesnt happen to be liberal, just a person itself. and if you research his tenure as Massachusetts Gov, you’ll notice he was very liberal, almost Arnold-esque if you may. Its really not about which party controls the country, it’s more about coming together and benefitting all americans, not just the pre-privileged ones. And most of you conservatives hold strong religous views, so i leave you with this? would Jesus be a capitalist? Favor the wealthy? Deny you health care or miracles because of a pre-exisiting condition? I’m sure you know the answer…

If Mitt Romney owned a southern plantation in 1850, he would consider himself a ‘job creator’.

Same Mitt then and now, only a different century.

          Kinda like the HMS Romney?

” … the name of the British warship sent to Boston Harbor to enforce the Townshend Acts of 1767, which imposed indirect taxes on various commodities sold in the American colonies — notably tea — was HMS Romney.

Please note, however, that this was before, not after, the Boston Tea Party notwithstanding erroneous reports to the contrary …

The presence of the Romney did further exacerbate tensions between the colonists and the British, especially after the ship’s captain began impressing local men to serve in His Majesty’s Navy. The Romney was also instrumental in the confiscation of a ship owned by prominent colonist JOHN HANCOCK on accusations of smuggling, which led to street riots, which prompted the sending of British troops, which prompted more rioting, and ultimately led to the Boston Massacre in 1770.

Jesus would be a capitalist and favor the wealthy. How do you think medical miracles are created? It’s because people are driven to succeed and make money in the business of medical research. Good thing Barry-care will be repealed.

        • Mr. Mister
          October 9, 2012 at 11:17 pm

And do you know how medical research is funded? Something called government subsidy, something that is oh so blasfamous if it’s an idea touted by someone who likes any color but red, and yet a God given miracle and smart investment if the above said rouge party speaks it. How can this be?

“Mitt Romney Is CAUGHT LYlNG. Again.” A BAlL0UT JUBlLEE FOR ROMNEY!

    — August 30, By TlM DlCKlNS0N, R0LLlNG ST0NE

The legend of Romney’s return to 1990 BAlN and describing his turnaround effort there as an “incredible success!”

Federal records by Rolling Stone through a Freedom of Information Act request reveal that BAlN lost money in both 1991 and 1992 with Romney at the helm.

A Dec 22, 1992 FDIC document lays out the truth about BAlN’s mounting losses (both “operating” and “net”) showing the FDIC was owed more than $30 million by BAlN after the 1991 failure of the Bank of New England.

Hard Truth: Romney’s turnaround effort at BAlN was a FlASCO as BAlN was rescued from C0LLAPSE by A BAlL0UT by the FDlC-Federal G0V in 1993 who agreed to WlPE away $10+Million Romney’s firm 0WED, because “the company will FAlL if the debt is N0T M0DlFlED (A JUBILEE)”

Oh, right – now YOU are starting to believe the fear you see everyday on Fox tv!

You all have spooked yourselves into believing these apocalyptic tales they’re spinning, which is Obama is the visionary prophet-statesman, and his Swedenization of America with his health care plans.

I wonder how he got those terrorists into NYC last night – did they come over on a raft with Uncle Jim, or did he have to rely on technology developed by our military vendors and scientists?

What extremists and doomslayers! The End Is Near – hide the sliver, Martha!

          October 7, 2012 at 10:12 pm

Brain scans show conservative brains have a larger amygdala than liberal brains. The amygdala is where fear is processed by the brain.

That is why they always play the ‘fear card’ (terrorism, taxes, sex, foreigners, President Obama) yet have learned to project it onto Democrats. They want to mess with Social security but tell Americans that Democrats are trying to scare old people when it’s pointed out what the Rs are doing.

          Doesn’t that beat all?

          • Eris
            October 8, 2012 at 10:22 am

It’s called Reverse Psychology – an old old trick jump-started again by Karl Rove.

The Fear Card has been used many times throughout our history, and was recently utilized via FOX News with promoting Glen Beck as a ‘grass-roots’ conservative. Actuality though, all he was, was rehashing old fears once used after WWI, updating it to this century with charts of current ‘anarchists’ (all Liberals) and using Woodrow Wilson as the center-father-figure of evil who was introducing Hegelian bacillus into the American water supply and turning everyone into a Progressive zombie-slave state.

Fear causes people to act irrationally and make rash decisions. Works every time…at least on some.

Ok William, here is a simple exercise in reason and deduction. Enlighten me with how the jobs report isnt fuzzy math. Read the following article and try to discredit it. By the way I read the jobs report and the info in this article matches up. Lets drop all the nonsense and actually debate this issue. If you cant do that I think it makes it blatantly obvious that you are a partisan hack. You wrongly assume I am a in love with Romney. My opinion hasnt changed, Obama has failed the American people and doesnt deserve a second term. So Willie whats your thoughts?

    • William
      October 5, 2012 at 8:51 pm

I won’t waste my time debating you because you are like Romney – facts don’t matter, as he showed in the debate. You are in your own altered reality just like Tina Marie who can’t grasp that there is VOTER SUPPRESSION going on which you have disputed previously.

If you can’t get that, then there is no use debating you on anything not even the time of day because you won’t accept the Naval Observatory’s time because Barack ‘cooked the books’. N’est-ce pas????

But, I love screwing with your mind cause it fun and funny.

You may have heard all the right wingers and Fox disputing the latest 7.8% unemployment report and accusing the White House of whatever. That’s how you think and it was obvious from your first replies to me. So, no deal with you.

      • Bam's Toast
        October 8, 2012 at 10:22 am

        William, do the math.

To get from 8.1% to 7.85 unemployment that equates to 865,000 individuals going from unemployed to employed.

By the Obama Administration’s own claims, 114,000 new jobs were added and an additional 84,000 jobs they forgot to count during the summer (allegedly) were added to the totals for a grand total of 198,000 new jobs.

Last I checked 865,000 is about 667,000 more than 198,000.

So where did those 667,000 individuals go if they did not get a job, but are no longer counted as unemployed?

The answer is, they are still unemployed, just no longer officially counted so that the unemployment number can officially be claimed to be under 8%.

The unemployment rate in this country, if it were counted the way it always had been prior to Obama taking office, is over 11%.

That is unacceptable and totally on the head of Barack H. Obama.

Plus, Barack caught a lot of static for not using the 47% against Mittens. Well, he denied Mittens the opportunity to apologize in front of 60 million people that night and he had to go on Hannity the following night to do his rehearsed apology.

Go to any non-partisan fact checking website and see just how ‘true’ Romney’s claims were. you may be astonished! even Faux News reports Romney as being untruthful, and thats big for them. but then of course you’ll come up with the excuse that if you have faith, his lies were truth, and then you will be letting your above said ‘faith’ stupify you. do your research and see what the real bummer is, and it ain;t the O. Romney won the debate because he prosecuted Obama on his amateurish and ill-advised policies, while being Presidential and professional. Obama was unable to defend his failed policies, and was sheepish and impotent as a result. Of course the Left will make every excuse in the book to spin this. However, we the people saw the REAL Obama….a puppet that’s totally lost without his Teleprompter.

      • Theodore
        October 4, 2012 at 10:28 am

With more registered Democrat voters than Republicans in the AV your desire to pretend there can only be one Obama supporter here shows your desperation. No, I don’t have a day job. That’s what happens when you work and save during your working career. You get to retire.
But I do have a full life, so I don’t always sit on this site.
As far as the debates went, romney did much better than I expected. Falling on his face was what I expected, so the bar wasn’t set real high.
Of course, he reinvented himself again. After last night, one could almost call him a moderate. Seems all the things he’s been saying he’s against, he’s not so against anymore. Interesting.

There aren’t more registered Democrat voters in the AV, they are less when you count the rural areas. I presume you read the same AV Press article I did too about 3 days ago. Last time I checked the rural areas of the AV were still part of the AV. either youre willfully ignoring that or your reading comprehension is awful? besides that many of the “registered Democrats” in the AV arent liberals dont always vote Democrat.

          • Eris
            October 5, 2012 at 9:20 am

Yes, Theodore it’s amazing that Tina Marie doesn’t believe that there might be more than 2 Democrats who post on this board, and that there are more registered Democrats in the Valley than Republicans. Since the GOP has about a 30% representation in the State, maybe she thinks all the GOP’s live here, which could be a possibility. Yes, some Liberals vote both ways – as they vote for the best candidate, not just along party lines. But the GOP seems to be running out of viable candidates, so even that will change in the future.

As for assuming all information is unbiased and truthful in the VPress, well that is also what it is – an assumption.

Javier, you hit the nail on the head. There are two topics that have always and always will create a division between people. Religion and Politics.

Exactly why we Freemasons don’t allow conversations regarding either in our lodge rooms.

Especially when republicans mix religion and politics as they are wont to do.

Problem is they bring their ‘faith-based’ mentality and certainty to politics but they still haven’t been able to turn ‘water into wine’ or, in their case, ‘whine’. They whine alot.
