LANCASTER – A 34-year-old man was shot dead at a gathering in Lancaster Saturday night, authorities said.

The fatal shooting was reported around 10:22 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in the 2300 block of Rosewood Avenue, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

“Homicide Investigators have learned there was a gathering at the location. At least one gun shot was heard and a male Hispanic, 34 years-old, was struck by gunfire. He was pronounced dead at the scene,” the sheriff’s news release states.

The victim’s name has not yet been released pending next of kin notification.

Homicide detectives were still investigating at the crime scene Sunday morning, and no further information on the incident was immediately released.

A source at the scene Saturday night said a family was having a party and someone went into the garage area and found the next-door neighbor dead of an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. This information was not confirmed by the sheriff’s department.

“There is no suspect information and no additional information at this time,” the sheriff’s news release states.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS (8477).

UPDATE: The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Adelmo Rodriguez of Lancaster, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

This innocent man was murdered and the person that did it doesn’t have the balls to admit it and take full responsibility for this. But KARMA IS COMING FOR YOU AND EVERYONE INVOLVED. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

Well, at least here in Liberaldom they’ve eradicated the notorious gun fight. The liberal way of doing things is simply the armed killer blasting away at the unarmed population anytime they please. Note: Please be advised that defending your life is a supreme no no. It makes our liberals feel unsafe.

Ah, the fantasies of “real” Americans. “Liberaldom?” It’s actually “anti-liberaldom” that has been blasting away at hordes of unarmed people. Right wing extremists have killed 329 people since 1994, and that’s only politically motivated killings. Also, liberals are not the ones running around public places with heavy artillery.

Fantasy is believing that liberals are victims, constrained from having freewill. You can get away with that narrative when you sell it to other hateful people or whites that never grew up in the hood, but all of us that have lived the street life know this : going into conservative neighborhoods, you fear judgment. Going into liberal neighborhoods, you fear robbery, being jumped, being shot, and being killed. Rightwing extremists are dangerous, absolutely. But 324 killings in 16 years doesn’t even compare to the number of killings we see in the hood in ONE year. Just look at all the violent crimes nationally for this year and see for yourself-if you even care. I’m an ex gang member who comes from a family line of criminals. If I can make it out and stop doing stupid sh*t, then so can anyone else. I’ll take my chances dealing with the judgemental right conservatives any day- because I can handle verbal criticism. What I can’t handle is the constant, senseless violence that may claim the life of my child someday. If you want problems to actually be solved and you want a positive change for our communities, then you would put aside your hate and and call it like it is. “During the last three years, there were over 16,398 verified violent gang crimes in the City of Los Angeles. These include 491 homicides, nearly 7,047 felony assaults, approximately 5,518 robberies and just under 98 rapes” During the last three years, there were over 16,398 verified violent gang crimes in the City of Los Angeles.
