LLANO – A Cessna with four people aboard crashed shortly after take-off Sunday afternoon in Llano, authorities said.

“Interviews with the pilot and passengers indicated the plane was taking off from the runway and reached between 40-50 knots, and about 25’-30’ in altitude, when the plane suddenly stalled, flipped backward, and fell into an orchard’,” the news release states.

“The occupants were able to exit through the doors and windshield before the plane caught fire and burned completely,” the news release states.

The four occupants, all from the northern California area, were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening to minor injuries, according to the news release.
