In recognition of all veterans

by Luis Meza • November 11, 2015

PALMDALE – About 300 people attended a Veterans Day celebration Wednesday at the Palmdale Amphitheater.

Presented by the Antelope Valley Service Organization Association (AVSOA), the annual event was held in conjunction with the display of the Mobile Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall for the Antelope Valley (AV Wall).

The program included master of ceremonies Bobby Breech of the AVSOA, Highland High School AFJROTC as Color Guard, performances by The Sunday Night Singers and members of the Palmdale High School Chamber Singers, George Palermo presenting “What is Veterans Day,” and a recognition of all veterans in attendance.
