Friday’s rodeo, FEARgrounds postponed

Rodeo Feargrounds postponed Oct. 16

LANCASTER – Due to the severe weather, the RAM PRCA California Circuit Finals Rodeo Performance and A.V. Fair FEARgrounds scheduled for Friday, Oct. 16, has been postponed, organizers announced.

Rodeo rescheduled

Friday’s rodeo has been rescheduled to Sunday, Oct. 18, at 1 p.m. (before the Mexican Extravaganza). Tickets for Friday’s rodeo performance will be valid for admission to the rodeo on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 1 p.m.

Rodeo ticket exchanges

Friday’s rodeo tickets may be exchanged for rodeo performances on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. or 7 p.m. To do so, bring the tickets to the Fair Administration office Friday, Oct. 16, by 4:30 p.m., or Saturday, Oct. 17, to the Fair Box Office. The Fair Box Office opens at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17.

Rodeo ticket refunds

Full Refunds (including 10% service fee), are available until 12 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, via the following procedures:

For tickets purchased ON-LINE at avfair.com:

  1. Contact E-Tix directly at (800) 514-3849, or online at www.etix.com.
  2. Have your tickets present for information needed.
  3. On etix.com, Click “Customer Service” (upper right side of page).
  4. Under “Existing Orders,” click the third line down that says, “How do I request a refund for my order?”
  5. Click “Fill out a support form to request a refund” as instructed, and click “Submit.”
  6. Once the transaction is verified and approved, the refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the tickets within three to five business days.

For tickets purchased at the Fairgrounds:

  1. Bring the actual tickets (copies of tickets will not be accepted) to the A.V. Fair Administration office Friday, Oct. 16, by 4:30 p.m., or take the tickets to the Fair Box Office on Saturday, Oct. 16, or Sunday, Oct. 18. The Fair Box Office opens at 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
  2. Fill out a Refund Request form, and once the transaction is verified and approved, a refund check will be mailed to you within three to five business days.

The Antelope Valley Fairgrounds is located at 2551 West Avenue H in Lancaster. Call 661-948-6060 for more information on the ticket refund procedure.

Oct. 16 FEARgrounds cancellation

Tickets specifically for Friday, Oct. 16, for the A.V. Fair FEARgrounds will be honored at any one night of the other FEARgrounds: Oct. 17 or 18; Oct. 23-25; or Oct. 30-Nov. 1. For refund information for Oct. 16 FEARgrounds tickets, call 661-948-6060.
