Bus Trip to Grand National Roadster show this Saturday

PALMDALE – The City of Palmdale will host a bus excursion to the 65th Grand National Roadster Show  at the Fairplex in Pomona this Saturday, Jan 25, from 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Tickets are $23 for Palmdale residents and $28 for non-residents. Participants may register in advance online at www.cityofpalmdale.org, or in-person at Palmdale’s recreation and culture office, located at 38260 10th Street East.

All buses meet at Palmdale Transportation Center, 39000 Clock Tower Plaza. The name of each person attending, address, phone number, emergency contact, and each minor child’s birth date are required. An adult must accompany anyone under age 18. The City requires a minimum of 20 registrants for an excursion to take place. Individuals who wish to purchase more than eight tickets for any one trip must contact the excursion supervisor. Cancellations must be made two weeks in advance of excursion.

The Grand National Roadster Show is the longest running indoor car show in the world. Competitors roar into town with the finest roadsters in the country, vying for the coveted “America’s Most Beautiful Roadster” award.

This show features more than 500 roadsters, customs, hot rods, and motorcycles competing for top awards, as well as live entertainment throughout the day.

Palmdale’s upcoming bus excursions include:

  • The Grammy Museum, Sat. Feb. 1. 9:30 am – 5 pm
  • National Date Festival, Sat. Feb. 15. 11 am – 11 pm.
  • Dinosaur Hall at The Natural History Museum, Sat. March 1. 8:30 am – 5 pm.
  • Diana: Legacy of a Princess at The Queen Mary, Sat. March 15. 8:30 am – 5 pm
  • L.A. County Museum of Art, Sat. April 26. 11 am – 5:30 pm.
