Dazzler Cheerleaders have been working hard to raise money for S.A.V.E.S. [South Antelope Valley Emergency Services], right here in Palmdale, for the third year in a row!

We were invited to participate in a Southern California competition through SHARP international on 10/12/13. This competition was a “give back” competition where all proceeds are donated back to the charity or organization of our choice.

As a group, we pushed hard and fundraised to attend. We sold discount community cards and held a huge popcorn fundraiser this season.  We also made key chains and had bumper stickers printed to raise more money.

After all of our hard work, we raised $1,301, and all of this is going straight to S.A.V.E.S.!

Our cheerleaders did great at the competition on 10/12/13, taking a clean sweep with 12 first place trophies, a “most spirited” trophy and the “overall grand master champions” trophy! We are looking forward to attending another competition on 10/26/13.

Though we love practicing, competing and bringing home the trophies, nothing compares to the support that we are giving our community.

Teaching our kids that there is more to life than winning is a huge part of Dazzler! Dazzler Cheerleaders and their families have been helping S.A.V.E.S. with food drives and similar events over the last three year.  Last year, we raised just under $1,000 for them.

Our motto is: “We don’t push for first, we push for fun… And just happen to take first place along the way!”

If anyone is looking to be a part of our Dazzler family, we are holding registration through Friday, October 25. We love growing and connecting with many families in the Antelope Valley!
