PWD to host plant sale

PALMDALE – The Palmdale Water District is partnering with local landscape professionals to host a plant sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, June 23 at 2029 East Avenue Q in Palmdale.

The plant sale will feature sustainable plants for the High Desert.

Representatives will show attendees how to design a water wise landscape, provide information on all types of water wise plants and demonstrate how to place plants together.

PWD will also provide information on its rebate programs and its “Cash for Grass” program.

If you are a Palmdale Water District customer you can sign up for the District’s “Cash for Grass” Program and receive information on the District’s other rebate programs.

Landscape professionals participating in the plant sale include AV Garden and Turf, Green Bee Nursery, AV Resource Conservation District, C& M Nursery, Natural Solutions, and Denise K Designs.
