Final days for pet donation drop off at Palmdale Oasis Recreation Center

by The AV Times Staff • April 26, 2012

Donations may be made Mondays through Fridays, between 3:30 and 6 pm.

PALMDALE – Residents have until Monday, April 30 to drop off their gently used pet items and blankets at the City’s Palmdale Oasis Recreation Center.

Donations will be given to the Lancaster Animal Care Shelter.

The Palmdale Oasis Park Center is located at 3850 East Avenue S. Donations may be made Mondays through Fridays, between 3:30 and 6 p.m.

“Our location makes it easier for South Antelope Valley residents to help out the animals in our local shelter,” said Program Leader Becky Errea. “We’re looking for gently used blankets, towels, leashes, collars, toys, sealed dog food and treats, newspapers and laundry detergent.” “All these items can help make a puppy’s stay a little better,” Errea continued.
