PALMDALE – A 21-year-old man who punched through the front window of a Palmdale store, in an apparent fit of rage, was nabbed by deputies early Thursday morning, authorities said.
Kevin Guzman of North Hollywood was arrested for vandalism, and deputies found methamphetamines on Guzman during booking, said Palmdale Station Lieutenant Cory Kennedy.

On August 2, 2012, at approximately 6:40 a.m., Palmdale Station deputies responded to a silent alarm call at 322 E. Palmdale Blvd, “Nicky’s Sports”.
They arrived and discovered the front store window smashed.
They searched the surrounding area and found the suspect, Kevin Guzman (Male, Hispanic, 21) of North Hollywood. He had some superficial cuts on his hand and blood on his person.
During the course of the investigation, he admitted to breaking the window.
He allegedly was driving in the area with his brother and got into an argument. He got out of the vehicle and for some reason, he decided to punch the window, smashing it.
The estimated damage was $300.00. He was subsequently arrested for the vandalism.
During the booking process, deputies discovered methamphetamines in his possession. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance.
