LANCASTER – A man was stabbed to death Monday afternoon in Lancaster, authorities said.
The incident was reported around 2:35 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27, on the 43400 block of Sixth Street East, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Responding deputies found a man with stab wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene, sheriff’s officials said. The victim’s name has not yet been released pending next of kin notification, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
There is no description of a suspect or possible motive for the crime at this time, sheriff’s officials said. The stabbing was the second killing of the day in Lancaster. An unidentified man was fatally shot shortly after midnight on Monday, Nov. 27, in the 43900 block of Delgado Court, sheriff’s officials said.
