Man fatally shot at Halloween party in Palmdale

PALMDALE  – A man was shot and killed early Saturday morning at a Halloween party in Palmdale, authorities said.

Deputies were called to the 37000 block of 55th Street East shortly after midnight, where they found the victim, according to homicide Lt. Patricia Thomas of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, His name has not yet been released pending next of kin notification.

No motive or suspect information was immediately released.

Anyone with information about the shooting was asked to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500. Anonymous calls can be made to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477, or tips may be sent to lacrimestoppers.org.

    I can’t take the violent crime in Los Angeles and the Antelope Valley.

    I wish I lived in a small town in Maine, one of the safest states in the country.

        Georgia has some good parts, but let us not forget that it also has a large part where Emp Tee Greene is a wildly popular figure. Picture Tweedledumb and Tweedledumber’s part of town grown to an entire congressional district.
