Driver killed in solo crash in Lancaster ID’d

LANCASTER – Authorities have identified the driver killed Wednesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway in the Lancaster.

He was 71-year-old Christopher Gaver, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

The crash was reported around 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, on the southbound 14 Freeway near Avenue G, according to the California Highway Patrol. Gaver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and no further information was immediately available.

Anyone with information regarding this crash is encouraged to contact the Antelope Valley CHP Office at 661-948-8541.
