LANCASTER – The city of Lancaster will host a 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza from 4 to 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, at the AV Fair & Event Center, located at 2551 West Avenue H in Lancaster.
The event will also feature food vendors and a motocross show presented by the 406FMX Freestyle Motocross Team.
“Our 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza is one of my favorite Lancaster traditions,” Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris said in a news release. “Our city embodies diversity, innovation, and community spirit—some of the best aspects of this country that I look forward to celebrating alongside our community with an awe-inspiring fireworks show.”
Seating outside the Grandstand Arena is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees are advised to bring their own chairs and/or blankets for free non-grandstand seating on the lawn. Attendees should note that while this seating offers a great view of the firework extravaganza, it does not provide access to the motocross show. Grandstand Arena seating for both the 406FMX Freestyle Motocross Show and Fireworks Extravaganza requires a paid admission ticket.
Parking will be provided at the AV Fair & Event Center for $10. Outside alcohol and pets are prohibited within the event premises.
