Kaleidoscope Art & Music Festival seeks artisans,vendors, and community partners

PALMDALE – The city of Palmdale is accepting participant applications for its seventh annual Kaleidoscope Art & Music Festival, an free event that celebrates the arts in the high desert, coming to the Palmdale Amphitheater on Oct. 7.

Admission and parking are free for attendees.

Artists, crafters, hobbyists, and student groups looking to display or sell wares, are encouraged to apply at KaleidoscopeArtFestival.com. The deadline to apply is June 30, 2023.

Professional artists can display, demonstrate, and sell their work and host in-booth painting demonstrations. Junior Makers, a new category for artisan sellers aged 17 years or younger, can apply for an 8’ x 8’ space in a shared tent. All applications are juried, and space is limited. Students, novices, or hobbyists may apply for a display-only spot in the ArtLight Exhibit. This category is open to groups, classes, schools, art instructors, and individuals. Culinary, home, and beauty artisans may apply for the Fresh Made Market, designed for cottage industry and farmers market vendors who specialize in items, such as handmade candles, home scent products, skin/body care products, baked and canned goods, salsas, sauces, and traditional farmers market products.

Crafters offering all handmade or personally designed items, can sell products such as fashion accessories, hand-crafted children’s toys, home goods, pottery, macrame, and more. Space is limited, and applications will be juried.

Visual and Performing Art studios and schools in the local area are encouraged to celebrate the arts at the Kaleidoscope Art & Music Festival. Agencies are encouraged to provide studio or school information, display their students’ work, or offer a demonstration.
