LANCASTER – Officials have released the name of a man found stabbed to death in Lancaster on March 29.
He was 19-year-old Daniel Montoya of Lancaster, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
The incident was reported around 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, on the 43200 block of Sierra Highway, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
“Deputies from Lancaster Sheriff’s Station responded… regarding a person down, not breathing call. When deputies arrived on scene, they located a Hispanic male… suffering from apparent stab wounds to his upper torso,” the news release states.
Montoya was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspect information was immediately available. Anyone with information on this stabbing is urged to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
