Woman found dead in Lancaster garage identified

LANCASTER – The woman who was found dead inside a garage in Lancaster last week has been identified.

She was 45-year-old Shelly Jack, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office.

Jack was found Feb. 21 at a residence on the 44700 block of Genoa Avenue. She was suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

According to the coroner, Jack’s death was ruled as a homicide. The incident remains under investigation, and authorities have release no further details on the circumstances surrounding Jack’s death.

    It wasnt some random garage that she was found in, it was her garage!! She just got her place not so long ago. Love you Shelly!! RIP my friend.

      This is so sad to hear…I don’t know her but it’s scary because too much things have been happening out here…I stay not to far away as well…I hope and pray they find who did this..immediately!!!!! What is going on…
