Veteran benefits informational event in Palmdale on May 20

PALMDALE – ​The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) and JVS SoCal are hosting an informational event on California state benefits for veterans and their family members from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Palmdale Elks Lodge 2027, located at 2705 East Avenue Q.

CalVet guests speakers from multiple divisions will discuss CalVet home loans, minority affairs, women, and disabled veteran business enterprise divisions.

Food and Drinks will be provided at no cost for attendees.

In addition, multiple veteran community organizations will host tables at the event, including LA County Military Veterans Affairs, Homes4Families, MHALA, and VA Vet Center.
