PALMDALE  – A 22-year-old man was killed and a 16-year-old boy injured in a shooting in Palmdale Thursday afternoon.

The shooting was reported around 12:04 a.m. Thursday, July 8, on the 4800 block of Adobe Drive, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

“At this time the information is that a male adult, unknown, wearing a COVID mask walked up to the driveway as the victims were hanging out in the garage of the residence and open fired,” the news release states.

The man sustained a gunshot wound to the upper torso and the teen suffered a gunshot wound to the hand. Both victims were taken to a hospital by paramedics.

The man died from his wounds at the hospital, while the teen was treated and released. The man’s name was not released pending next of kin notification.

The shooter fled the scene on foot immediately after the attack, sheriff’s officials said. A possible motive for the shooting was not provided.

“…the garage of the residence and open fired,” “open fired”????

For quite a while I’ve noticed how much misspelling and faulty grammar is on the web in articles not just comments. Don’t they spell check?

It’s like everything is falling apart since Trump got elected. Some fatih based groups support Trump which makes ya wonder. If they believe the fantasy tales in the Bible they were primed to believe the bs that Trump spews even though he is the most unholy, amoral, unethical guy in the country and he sucked in the bible thumpers. What’s wrong with that picture?

Then, there are Beecee and Sonya who don’t seem faithful at all unless it’s to the lies.

“The shooting occurred … when a man wearing a “COVID mask” walked along the driveway to a garage where the two victims were hanging out, shot them and then fled the scene.”
