After Election Day there are still many outstanding ballots to be counted. During the Official Election Canvass, all Conditional Voter Registration ballots, Provisional ballots and Vote by Mail ballots received on Election Day are processed. Once the ballots are verified they will be counted. Due to the switch to vote centers instead of voting precincts, there is no way to immediately track how many ballots cast on Tuesday remain to be counted. State law also allows the counting of mail ballots received as late as 17 days after election day. For the latest local election results, visit: https://www.lavote.net/

You all like feeding the machine. In a few years they will have their hand out again and you will all blindly vote yes for the good of the community. What a bunch of sheep. Fix potholes, maintain 911 response times, address the homeless issue. How is 12 million a year going do do anything with that? It’s not, just like the last time(s) the sales tax was bumped up for the “good of the community”.

Shut up and pay us so we can spend you money on whatever we want. No one will ever ask us what we really did with the money anyway. By next month they will have forgotten all those promises.

Higher taxes maybe but it’s worth it to not have the incompetent trump continue to destroy the country. With Biden we will now be able to fight the trump virus and save millions of Americans lives and be able to open the country back up
    God bless America

Trebor. No matter where you go, there you are.

You will take you with you and wonder why everywhere you go it’s a HELL HOLE.

I’m sure you don’t have the $$$$s to move to Maui, so you’ll end up in some little hole-in-the-wall town full of people like you. That will be HELL. You can count on it.

        Keep in touch.

Right? Gotta love these people who post “Commiefornia” and “HELLHOLE”! …Probably looking to move to some little pissant town in Idaho or Arizona where everyone is White, Republican and speaks English….but the food is S*itty and the Medical care is bad, and Ol’Bill likes to screw Ol’Joe’s wife behind his back and Ol’Tom has no issue trying to financially rip off Ol’Bob…but hey…that’s what they like! …As long as they all meet later at the Trump rally with their ‘Q’ signs, their cigarettes, beer cans, bad breath and rotten teeth, and holler, “…screw those communists and their health care plan for all! …Screw Bill Gates! …Screw logic! …Screw science! …Screw masks! …Ain’t nobody gonna tell me what to do!” —- BYE!!!!!!!!!!

I’m a Palmdale resident and a registered Democrat. I wish Steve Hofbauer would quit being such a Trump stooge. The majority of registered voters in Palmdale are Democrats, not Republicans. We voted for him, not the Trumpers who mainly live in Lancaster and Quartz Hill.

Davis Kay. There are no good Trump supporters.

I like the way that sounds “no good Trump supporters” as in they are “no good”.

They believe the lies and if they don’t and still support him they have no integrity.

        They repeat his lies.

        They lost the election.

Now, if they would only zip it.

Measure AV passed…. I guess people like higher taxes. No worries. I’ll be doing more of my shopping outside of the city. Hope I’m not the only one thinking this way. Higher water prices (and continuing to rise). Pay for plastic bags. Now a HIGHER sales tax? WTF are my fellow residents thinking? Maybe we can use some of this money for mental help for them. Did they know that this will also translate to higher gas prices cause you are charged a sales tax at the pump per gallon or will gas be considered an essential that won’t be taxed? Idiots!

Well, you can use your own grocery bags now, but you have to do your own bagging which is fine with me. As far as gas prices, if I can afford to pay for license, registration, car maintenance, etc., I can afford higher gas prices. You can always shop in Lancaster, oops, taxes are going up there too. Please let me know where you will be shopping.
