by City News Service • October 12, 2020 1 Comment

LITTLEROCK – Two horses were running in lanes on the Pearblossom (138) Highway in Littlerock Saturday evening and one was fatally struck by a vehicle, authorities said.

It happened about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, on Pearblossom Highway at 80th Street East, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Good Samaritans were able to get the other horse out of traffic lanes and calm it down, the CHP said.

Eastbound lanes of Pearblossom Highway were closed to clean up debris, the CHP said.
