Help authorities find 81-year-old man missing nearly two years from Lancaster

LANCASTER – Authorities are seeking the public’s help to find an 81-year-old man who’s been missing for nearly two years from Lancaster.

Oscar Lee Leveringston was last contacted by telephone on Nov. 1, 2018, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

“Mr. Leveringston’s family is concerned for his well-being and asking for the public’s assistance in locating him,” the news release states.

Leveringston is described as Black, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds, with brown hair and eyes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call the sheriff’s department’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.

    Maybe he went to a girlfriend’s house and is still there, maybe wants nothing to do with his family?
