Tom Cruise is a world-class jet fighter pilot. I hope he makes a cameo appearance.

Will Rex’s Eye in the Sky be in the airshow for a little comic relief?

This is a huge recruitment tool used by all branches of the military. I remember attending my first air show as a young kid in El Toro. I was loving the sights of jets flying by, sounds of the roaring engines, and smells of jet fuel, bbq hot dogs and sun block. From that point on I was hooked for life. Many years later I joined the Marine Corps. It was a childhood goal from that air show that I was able to fulfill. Not everyone knows what our military does, these air shows open doors to kids who dont live close to bases, gives them another opportunity or route in life. Air shows are family events how is happy times spent with loved ones a waist of money. The jets flown are maintained by active duty AIR Force and Navy personnel, that’s training for them, there transported by C-130’s and C-5’s giving those pilots, and load masters flight training hours, there really is no difference between them and the tens of thousands of bullets I shot as training. The only difference is the flight teams train with a crowd watching them. The military has a budget just as all other government departments and I do feel the military uses their money more responsible then most government agencies.
