Pit Bull attacks other dogs, charges deputy, shot and killed

by City News Service • October 11, 2019

PALMDALE – A pit bull that attacked at least two other dogs and threatened to charge a sheriff’s deputy was shot and killed in Palmdale Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

Deputies responded about 3:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10, to the 9400 block of East Avenue Q-4 and located a boy with blood on the front of his shirt, according to Lt. Derrick Ballentine of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Palmdale Station.

An investigation determined the boy’s pit bull had gotten loose and attacked at least one other dog in the neighborhood, Ballentine said.

A deputy was informed the pit bull was last seen running eastbound on East Avenue Q-4. The deputy located the pit bull a short time later attacking another dog, Ballentine said.

As the deputy exited his vehicle, the owners of the dog being attacked arrived at the scene and one of the owners threw a rock that struck the pit bull and ended the attack on the other dog, Ballentine said.

The pit bull then charged the deputy and was shot and killed, he said.

The blood on the boy’s shirt was later determined to have been from another dog that had been attacked, Ballentine said.

Two dogs that were attacked and badly injured by the pit bull were taken by animal control officers to be euthanized, sources at the scene said.

It’s a good thing Rex killed thousands of pit bulls in Lancaster or else our crime would be going through the roof.
Wait…our crime is going through the roof. Guess it’s not the pit bulls. It must be the 67 homeless people a day that Rex and Marv say are coming to Lancaster. Yeah, that’s the ticket.

I don’t spend my days thinking about Rex Parris, but I do know the facts. Rex Parris killing thousands of pit bulls did not happen, and this is why I don’t gather my facts here.

Petra, you may wish to go back and watch Rex bragging about it at his council meetings. You can learn a lot about Rex and his bizarre ways simply by watching and listening to this strange, strange man.

If chiwawas were notoriously biting ankles and spreading aids ect, can i be justified by squeezing one till its eyes poofed out like mushrooms just because i fear it might be one of those evil dirty dogs that might have a gun?

I already know all about Rex, and I am able to separate fact from fiction. The facts are enough to present to the voters over the years, but almost 90% of the voters chose not to vote over these many years; instead they choose to just complain, and give excuses as to why they don’t go to the polls.

Petra, no one can argue that voter turnout is abysmal in Lancaster. By design, the elections are held in April with polling places in fertile grounds such as Lancaster Baptist Church where the faithful do as instructed and cast their ballots for Rex and his hand picked minions. Low turnout, low IQ voters sums it all up in Lancaster.

Dolt: “it’s all in how your raise them”.

Pit Bulls have a pain tolerance that’s off the charts – you can brake both their back legs and they will still come at you using only their front lets. The “pounds per square inch” of their bit is enough to brake bones and rip flesh with no problem. Their think necks allow them to rip flesh with added strength. They’re built like a table, with makes them more sturdy and again gives them a major advantage to rip flesh. Their thrashing movement when biting is unique and again gives them more advantage when ripping flesh. “But oh, it’s just how you raise them.” This is physics, not how you raise them.

But at least I have a pitbull right? Doesn’t that make it slightly less miserable?
