PALMDALE – The city of Palmdale is undertaking a comprehensive update to its General Plan and is seeking input from residents.

The General Plan will address important community topics such as new growth, housing, sustainability, safety, mobility and health.

“What is your vision for Palmdale?” asked Communications Manager John Mlynar. “The city is committed to involving the community at every step of the process to ensure the content is guided by Palmdale residents, There will be many opportunities for you to participate throughout the three-year process, so we encourage you to get involved and let your voice be heard!”

Palmdale needs a makeover for sure starting with the blvd. We definitely need more affordable housing. There’s a lot to be done but Palmdale is not doomed let’s make it better than Lancaster. I have leaved in the av for 34 years and Lancaster has always looked better than Palmdale although I leave in Palmdale I go to Lancaster to take care of my business. It would be nice to stay in my town I want to be able to be proud of where I’m from.

Have you been to East Lancaster? Ave. K near Challenger? Lancaster Blvd. east of the train tracks? Ave. I? Lancaster is a craphole. Palmdale is much nicer and safer. I leave East Lancaster to do all my business in Palmdale.

Do the exact opposite of whatever Rex does in Lancaster. The result will be continued lower crime, more shopping, higher property values, less nepotism, and no insider deals. Stay away from the Lancaster Political Machine.

Cynic…Well, according to the commenters, Palmdale is already doomed. According to you, and those that follow in your mind-set, it’s those pesky voters that don’t know any better, and keep the corrupt ones in power. You’re going to have to live with what the voters decided, or maybe you can find another pace to live that would suit you better.

Palmdale is doomed if they follow Parris. This whole valley is. He and his cohorts enrich themselves as the quality of life declines.

Our City Council is spending our emergency reserves like nobody’s buisness. I think it must be under 20%. What happened to conservative in Palmdale.

    More low-income and high-density housing…
