by City News Service • April 15, 2019

PALMDALE – A naked, knife-wielding man was shot and killed by a security guard at a McDonald’s restaurant in Palmdale Sunday, authorities said.

The shooting happened around 4:29 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at a restaurant at 2427 E. Avenue S, Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said. [KTLA has video from the scene. View it here.]

Witnesses told reporters at the scene the suspect first crashed a car into a nearby Carl’s restaurant before heading to McDonald’s, witnesses told authorities.

The man took off his clothes before he went into the McDonald’s where he stabbed a man, Koerner said.

“The suspect then exited the business and was confronted by an armed security guard,” Koerner said. “The suspect assaulted the security guard, who in turn, fired at least one round, striking the suspect in the upper torso.”

The wounded suspect was pronounced dead at a hospital, the deputy said. The man who was stabbed was hospitalized with stable vital signs.

A knife was recovered at the scene, Koerner said.

It’s unknown why the man attacked the restaurant patrons but the investigation in continuing, he said.

It is unclear why thean exited his vehicle and stabbed… No it is clear.. He was in Palmdale.

Security guards on every corner in the AV, a good idea. Takes pressure off the cops.

I wonder how many quarter pounders got regurgitated from the sight of a naked man in a McDonald’s dining room?

Well, I am glad LASD didn’t shoot this guy. It would all have been a conspiracy between crooked cops with a resulting cover-up. At least according to all the police bashers out there.

Rams car into Carl’s Jr and then attacks McDonald’s with a knife. Seems likely that Burger King is behind this…

Left Palmdale in 1977 to join the Military and did not move back. Still have family still living there. I have a question, when did McDonald’s start to have armed Security?

A year or two ago some Black guy walked into that McDonalds and walked in behind some other Black guy eating there and shot him in the head assassination style. This McD’s has a bad rep already. My friends finance was there at the McD’s that day and saw the whole murder, and even today she won’t go anywhere near that part of town.
