Except much of the White Man’s technology (as you put it) is anything but.
Zero is Arabic. Homes are home sand have been improved on by everyone based on local conditions and supply of parts from other nations. Rockets and gun powder are Chinese. The list goes on and on.
The sooner everyone realizes we are all HUMAN and one giant group of mutts the better off we will all be. Just different breeds of the same species. All with the same base goals too. To love, to live, to be happy.

Huh? Zero is Arabic? Rockets and gun powder are Chinese? Humans are one giant group of mutts? Leave me out of that one, O.K.?

Zero is actually Indian (Hindu), but I’m sure they’re “all the same” to you.

Well, no, it isn’t “all the same.” One is right, and the rest are wrong…the rest including India and Arab.

Zero was brought to Europe by Arab merchants, who did get the concept from India…but the use of zero spread to India from Sumerians and Babylonians. Whether it originated in Sumeria or Babylonia is debatable since it appeared in both at about the same time.

Zero traced to Indian civilization, Sanscrit word Shunya means “O.” Shunya means void or nothingness. Zero has nothing to do with this petty theft, bogus witch hunt.

I was taught in grade school and high school that it was Arabic in orgin. I could have been taught incorrect information. As to the second half of your comment LOIS, no.

Mesopotamia to India, to China, to Arabic speaking Arabs, to Mayans, etc. I don’t think the man in the photo cares.

Bet you are correct about the guy in the picture.

Didn’t the Mayans develop it independently before contact with the eastern hemisphere?

Could be. The Mayans loved their numbers.

Something similar happened to me once with a cashier, but I didn’t end up on a bogus witch hunt.
