Hundreds of fighting birds euthanized in Lancaster

by City News Service • September 7, 2018

[File]
LANCASTER – County animal control officers found more than 300 fighting birds along with a fighting ring used in the training of fighting cocks after serving a search warrant in Lancaster, officials said.

Animal Control officers, along with county deputies and officers from SPCA-LA, made the discoveries after serving a search warrant around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, in the 48000 block of 25th Street East, according to Danny Ubario, deputy director of The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care and Control.

All the birds had to be euthanized “because of serious public health concerns and the aggressive nature of birds bred for fighting,” Ubario said.

“In situations like this, animal control and humane agencies take this preventative action to prevent the very serious risk of the spread of disease such as Avian Flu, or Exotic Newcastle’s Disease,” Ubario said.

No arrests have been made, but Ubario said an ongoing investigation is ongoing.

Different laws for different people, here in the sanctuary city of Mexifornia LASD and the Michael D.Antonovich superior court go light on Hispanics, for shoplifting, cock-fighting, child abuse, hit-n-run, driving without insurance, and DUI.

it always irritates me when I read……no arrests have been made. why the hell not? if a persons car or home is searched and guns, drugs, alcohol, whatever is found that is illegal someone is arrested! why should this be any different? i understand there is an ongoing investigation but there is always an ongoing investigation regardless of the crime. arrest and deport if necessary!

I didn’t see any indication that there was anyone there when they executed the warrant. If they rented the property under a fake name to conduct their illegal business it isn’t like searching “a person’s car or home.” There might not be anyone to arrest right there handy.

JustSayn is right – arrests need to be made right away before the suspects can flee the country and get new identities. I once met a man hiding in Brazil from a bird fighting charge here in the US, he told me to never reveal his identity or his address because he was terrified of the 10 days of community service and probation he would receive if ever captured. (sigh)

… top 10 cultural contributions of the Mexicans, to American society:

1). knife fighting, gunfighting, bull fighting, dog-fighting, chicken fighting, gang-fighting, cat fights (e.g., every kind of fighting) —
2). record recidivism on shoplifting & looting —
3). astronomical recidivism on teen pregnancy —
    4). the drive-by shooting —
    5). pervasive recidivism on hit-and-run —
    6). persistent recidivism on drunk-driving —
7). Tijuana Baroque (e.g., litter and vandalism; every public restroom in America personally autographed, by a Mexican) —
8). abysmal test scores; astronomical rates of illiteracy —
9). astronomical recidivism on driving unlicensed & uninsured —
10). the unofficial “get even with the gringo day,” the Cinco De Mayo excuse for parading the Mexican flag, over the American flag.

I bet they killed the birds because they just didn’t want to deal with them..they say it’s for safety reasons but they kill lots of animals just for the heck of it

… in America, there is no gang-fighting, dog fighting, bull fighting or cock fighting. Here in the sanctuary state of Mexifornia, the lust of blood sport pervasive, these are its de facto official number 1 sports.

If you think there are no blood sports outside of California, you are definitely living with your head buried deep in … the sand.

Its more noticeable in mexifornia due to the fact that libtards welcome and need their votes so they can keep raping you and all other tax paying LEGAL citizens.

It may be more noticeable in California FOR YOU because you get your “news” from some right wing yellow sheet that uses nonsensical words like “mexifornia.” Crap is more noticeable for people with their head up their butt also, but that doesn’t make their world view better informed.
