LANCASTER – No one was arrested for driving under the influence, but 23 drivers were arrested for other violations at a DUI/ driver’s license checkpoint in Lancaster this past weekend, authorities said.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Traffic Services Detail conducted the checkpoint from 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, to 2 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, at Division Street and Avenue I in Lancaster, according to a news release from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station.
The results of the checkpoint are as follows:
- 748 vehicles were screened at the checkpoint.
- 22 drivers were cited/arrested for operating a vehicle unlicensed or while suspended/revoked.
- One person was arrested on “other criminal charges.”
- 12 citations were issued.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting additional DUI/driver’s license checkpoints and DUI saturation patrols throughout the year as part of an ongoing commitment to lowering deaths and injuries upon streets and highways.
Funding for these operations is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

It’s quite a quandary we Californians find ourselves in. The government in Washington DC no longer represents the United States of America. The government in Sacramento, more loyal to Mexican nationals than Californians, no longer represents California residents. The government in Los Angeles, more loyal to Mexican nationals than Los Angeles residents, no longer represents Los Angeles residents. The LASD bureaucracy, more loyal to Mexican nationals and our intellectually bankrupt judiciary than Los Angeles county residents, is more dedicated to winnowing away our founding Fathers’ constitution for which to impose arbitrary sanctuary city law, than protecting and serving county residents. Nobody’s representing us. Our government represents everyone else…

Maybe you should move to Mexico then cause America belongs to us Mexicans…

… taking a free ride, soaking up all the free stuff, hit-‘n-run ANTIFA Mexicans just love infiltrating America, inebriating themselves asunder, trashing the place out with vandalism and graffiti, taking out the side of their mouths telling the gring0s how they think we ought to be living our lives. I think what Americans have come to disdain most about the Mexicans is, their laziness, and their distorted sense of self-entitlement, to everything American –

… even the most obtuse of laymen have little choice but begrudgingly concede, intended purpose of these 4th amendment checkpoints has nothing whatsoever to do, with catching drunk drivers. The most hated piece of legislation ever handed down to law enforcement, the biggest nuisance in world history ever conceived for law enforcement — your Founding Fathers’ 4th amendment. The only reason LASD agrees to these 4th amendment shakedowns is (1) pretense for atriting our Founding Father’s constitution, softening up your Founding Father’s 4th amendment, and (2) banking pecuniary and non-pecuniary favors by indirectly funding the local courthouse. Under threat of immediate dismissal, not one police officer in the history of United States law enforcement dare ever break ranks to concede, “sobriety” merely constitutes a convenient excuse for LASD’s 4th amendment transgressions –
