Palmdale Playhouse to host Tony Capko Holiday Band, Cozy Smooth Jazz

tony-capko-cozy-smooth-jazzPALMDALE – The Palmdale Playhouse will host a concert by The Tony Capko Rockin’ Holiday Big Band this Saturday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m.

“Be warned—this ain’t your daddy’s big band,” said Palmdale Recreation Supervisor Annie Pagliaro.  “This rockin’ holiday mini orchestra combines the excitement of a modern day big band with high energy sounds of the season. Comprised of LA’s finest musicians and their spirited arrangements, this concert is sure to meet all of Santa’s requirements and kick start your holidays into high gear.”

Tickets are $15 for adults, and $12 for students, seniors, military and children 12 and under.

On Sunday, Dec. 11, the Playhouse will present a Cozy Smooth Jazz Holiday concert, starting at 7 p.m.

“This very special night of music is designed especially for listeners to enjoy the sounds of the season Smooth Jazz style,” Pagliaro stated.

Tickets are $15 for adults, and $12 for students, seniors, military and children 12 and under.

Attendees who purchase tickets for both The Tony Capko Rockin’ Holiday Big Band on Saturday and the Cozy Smooth Jazz Holiday on Sunday get both concerts for the discounted price of $25 for adults and $19 for students, seniors, military and children 12 and under.

The Palmdale Playhouse is located at 38334 10th Street East in Palmdale.

Tickets for all Palmdale Playhouse events may be purchased online at www.palmdaleplayhouse.com, or at the Playhouse Box Office beginning two hours before each show. For more information, call 661-267-5684.
