Palmdale Sheriff’s Station detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted for burglary and a suspect wanted for vandalism, both believed to be in the Antelope Valley area. If you recognize them and know where they might be located, contact detectives using the information next to the suspects’ photos or by calling 1-800-222-tips (8477).
David Mellies
David MelliesDavid Mellies is a 38-year-old male with blue eyes and brown hair. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs around 195 pounds.
Mellies is wanted for burglary.
There is a $15,000 warrant for his arrest.
Mellies is known to frequent the 39000 block of Armfield Avenue in Palmdale.
Anyone with information on the location of David Mellies is encouraged to contact Detective Caplinger at 661-272-2462.

Jorge Lopez
Jorge LopezJorge Lopez is a 26-year-old male with brown eyes and black hair. He is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 190 pounds.
Lopez is wanted for vandalism.
There is a $10,000 warrant for his arrest.
Lopez is known to frequent the 37000 block of Monarch Street in Palmdale.
Anyone with information on the location of Jorge Lopez is encouraged to contact Detective Hatami at 661-272-2456.

Seriously??!! Dudes with $10-15,000 warrants & they gotta blast there faces to the public. Come on now, Palmdale/Lancaster has more serious offenders that need to be off the streets. Focus on the things that will lead to making the A.V. a better place to live in for all the thousands of families that reside there.

Well, let’s take a look. David is a burglar, aka a thief, meaning he either breaks into homes, or steals property from stores, which raises MY prices, or both. Jorge on the other hand, damages or destoys the property of others. Sounds to me like “the AV would be a better place to live” if both of these turds were locked up! Apparently they didn’t listen to Egberts’ advice, and made that “one bad decision” that led to their criminal record! Spoken like someone with a criminal record!

Let’s look at the fact that these people are NOT convicted of these things, they are what’s known as a person of intrest. Meaning they want to guesting them in conception of etc… Just because someone accuses or implies that you may or may not have done something does not make it so..So mister realityreality check just because I call you a child molester, does that mean you are or can you prove your not??? ;-) Oh I guess it doesn’t matter cause the damage is done huh?
