Sample ballots en route for June 7 presidential primary

Sample ballots presidential primaryLOS ANGELES – Millions of Los Angeles County voters, including many Antelope Valley residents, will begin receiving their sample ballots for the June presidential primary over the next three weeks, the county clerk said Friday.

The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk began sending out 4.7 million sample ballot booklets to registered voters and will continue the mailings through May 28.

The sample ballots include information about the June 7 primary candidates and measures, polling location information and an application to request a vote-by-mail ballot.

Only registered voters will receive sample ballot booklets. Los Angeles County residents can register to vote at http://www.lavote.net.

Election materials are also available in Spanish, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Tagalog, Thai and Vietnamese and can be requested by calling 800-481-8683.
