PALMDALE – Are you a caring adult who wants to make a difference in a young person’s life? If so, then Antelope Valley YouthBuild needs you.
The local nonprofit is seeking mentors for its young people, ages 16 and 17, as they go through their journey at Antelope Valley YouthBuild.
Potential mentors must be willing to take part in a brief orientation/training, complete a background check and commit to a least four hours a month to support and guide a young person.
For more information on becoming a mentor at Antelope Valley YouthBuild, contact Assistant Mentor Coordinator Linda Watson at 661-266-8900 or email lwatson@avyouthbuild.com.

I graduated from this school last year. It really helped me a lot being the age of 23.
