LANCASTER – KISS lead singer and entrepreneur Gene Simmons will deliver the keynote speech at the 44th annual Antelope Valley Business Outlook Conference.

The day-long event, themed “Antelope Valley Rocks,” is set for Friday, Feb. 26, at the AV Fairgrounds.

Aerospace industry leaders, an international economist, top military brass and authorities in manufacturing and real estate will also address the expected crowd of more than 800, according to organizers.

The distribution of the annually updated Antelope Valley Economic Roundtable Report will also take place. Kimberly Maevers, president and CEO of the Greater Antelope Valley Economic Alliance (GAVEA), will recap highlights from the report.

London-based Sarbjit Nahal, managing director of the Thematic Investing Strategy team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Global Research, will address global trends that influence everything from Wall Street to Main Street.

Major General David A. Harris, commander of the Air Force Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base, will offer his perspective as the chief of a $31 billion enterprise of more than 18,000 military, civilian and contractor personnel across Edwards AFB, Eglin AFB and Arnold AFB.

Also addressing the conference on aerospace will be David D. McBride, director of NASA’s Neil A. Armstrong Flight Research Center at Edwards, and Karina Drees, CEO and general manager of Mojave Air & Space Port.

A regional real estate market report from the Greater Antelope Valley Association of Realtors will be presented by Mark Troth, a practicing Realtor in the Antelope Valley for 33 years.
