Palmdale City Hall to close for MLK holiday

closedPALMDALE – City of Palmdale administrative and business offices, South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES), the Palmdale Playhouse box office, Legacy Commons for Active Seniors and Palmdale City Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 18 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

To report emergencies after hours, weekends or on holidays, residents may call 661-267-5338.

Emergencies include sewer overflows, roadway/right of way hazards including downed tree limbs, downed signs and potholes, or broken sprinkler lines in city parks and landscaped areas.

Although the City’s Culture and Recreation offices will be closed, residents may view upcoming programs and register for them online at www.cityofpalmdale.org/playpalmdale.

Parking and administrative citations may be paid online at www.cityofpalmdale.org, 24 hours 7 days a week. The Library’s online services will also be available at www.cityofpalmdale.org/library.

Administrative, business offices and SAVES will reopen Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 7:30 a.m.

Legacy Commons will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 8 a.m.

The Palmdale City Library will reopen on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m.
