by The AV Times Staff • December 11, 2015

AV swap meet winter clothing drivePALMDALE – The Antelope Valley Swap Meet, located at 5555 Pearblossom Highway in Palmdale, is offering free admission throughout December to anyone who brings a new or slightly used winter clothing item to donate to the South Antelope Valley Emergency Services (SAVES).

Winter clothing items include coats, sweaters, sweatshirts, hats and scarves. Collection bins will be located at all entrances throughout the Swap Meet.

“As the weather has gotten colder, we’re seeing an increase in the need for winter clothing by our clients,” stated SAVES Coordinator Patricia Morales. “Your donations will help someone in need of winter clothing, plus you’ll get into the Swap Meet for free.”

The Antelope Valley Swap Meet is open Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sundays, from 6 a.m. to 4 pm.

For more information, contact the Antelope Valley Swap Meet at 661-273-0456.
