New Menchie’s store celebrating grand opening with freebies

PALMDALE– Menchie’s, “the friendliest place on earth with a mission to make every guest smile,” will be celebrating the opening of its new Antelope Valley Mall location with weeklong festivities beginning Saturday, Oct. 10, according to the company.

Menchie’s seven-day grand opening celebration, from Oct. 10-16, is packed with giveaways, including t-shirts and Menchie’s merchandise, family-friendly activities and free servings of its frozen yogurt.

“It’s fantastic frozen yogurt in such a fun atmosphere! People walk in the door and they’re happy and excited,” said owner Esti Klaiman. “I really appreciate Menchie’s commitment to friendly service for guests from the very young to the very mature.”

The new self-serve store offers arts and crafts for kids, music and indoor/outdoor seating areas. Guests can choose from premium frozen yogurt flavors and a variety of over 70 toppings.

Menchie’s proprietary collection is made from the milk of California cows, which have not been treated with artificial growth hormones (rBST). Menchie’s frozen yogurt contains live and active cultures and has received the Live and Active Culture (LAC) seal indicating its endorsement by the National Yogurt Association.

Menchie’s Antelope Valley Mall is located at 1301 Rancho Vista Blvd. Suite F in Palmdale, and is open Sunday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. For more information, call 661-947-9550 or visit www.menchies.com.

Saturday, Oct. 10 , 12 – 2 p.m.
Meet Menchie (the mascot),Live DJ, free frozen yogurt, free T-shirts and a balloon artist

Sunday, Oct. 11, 1 p.m.
Free plushie doll, free color-in T-shirts and free face painting

Monday, Oct. 12, 5 – 6 p.m.
$2 yumm – Fill up your cup for only $2

Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Kids 10 and under eat free

Wednesday, Oct. 14, 12 – 2 p.m.
Lunchtime yumm – Half-off frozen yogurt

Thursday, Oct. 15, 3 p.m.
Free cooler bag/ beanie with every cup purchased

Friday, Oct. 16, 7— 9 p.m.
Date night – Buy one frozen yogurt, get one free

    So now we have 3 yogurt shops within a mile of each other.

    Berry Star, Yogurt land and now Menchies. :) Yum

      You forgot Sweet Frog which there is a store in Palmdale.

      And there is another Yogurt Land will be opening soon in Lancaster next to Applebees and Modern Dentistry.

      I can’t wait for LEGO Store in Antelope Valley Mall.

        Sweet Frog (47th and R) isn’t within a mile of those three. But there is also a new yogurt store at 47th and S as well so the east side has its fair share of choices.
