LANCASTER –The Antelope Valley Fair is once again partnering with local businesses for its fifth annual “Graceful Giving…a Fair way to end hunger” campaign. The program involves selling Pre-Fair admission tickets, normally priced at $10, for $7. One dollar of every Pre-Fair ticket sold through Aug. 20 will be given to Grace Resource Center to support its food bank and other programs.

“The Graceful Giving program is consistent with the Fair’s history of community support,” stated Tim Fuller, President of the Antelope Valley Fair Association board of directors. “This is an important project that will help Grace Resource Center aid families in immediate need by providing necessities and skills to those less fortunate.”

The $7 Pre-Fair admission tickets are good for any one day at the 77th Annual “Barn Appétit” Antelope Valley Fair & Alfalfa Festival, which takes place Aug. 21-30, 2015.

Pre-Fair admission tickets and $20 Unlimited Carnival Rides wristbands are on sale at all Antelope Valley Albertsons, Vallarta and Vons supermarkets through Thursday, Aug. 20. The $20 Unlimited Carnival Rides wristbands are valid for any one day of the Fair, except Saturday.

One free Fair 2015 Coupon Book will be given to customers with the purchase of $7 Pre-Fair admission tickets and/or Pre-Fair $20 Unlimited Carnival Rides wristbands, while supplies last. All Coupons are “buy-one-get-one-free” deals for adult and kids’ combo meals, desserts, merchandise, rides and games to be redeemed at the Fair.

The Graceful Giving fundraising program and Coupon Books-with-purchase do not apply to online sales of $7 admission tickets.

Other locations selling $7 Pre-Fair admission tickets include the A.V. Fair cart at the Antelope Valley Mall, Antelope Valley College, A.V. George’s Cleaners, A.V. Hope on the Go, Edwards Federal Credit Union, Grace Resource Center, Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, Lancaster High School Boys Soccer, Pearblossom Foursquare Church and the Whole Wheatery. A list of Graceful Giving participants selling tickets can be found here.

Two additional recipients of this year’s “Graceful Giving…a Fair way to end hunger” campaign are the Antelope Valley Hospital Foundation and the Palmdale Regional Medical Center Volunteer Auxiliary, via tickets sold at Vallarta Supermarkets in the Antelope Valley.

Sales of $7 Pre-Fair admission tickets end Thursday, Aug. 20.
