AVC graduates 16 to serve as wildland firefighters

LANCASTER – Congratulations to AVC’s Wildland Firefighter Academy graduates! The students completed a rigorous summer training program in various aspects of wildland firefighting to earn certification from the National Wildfire Coordinating Group. The training prepares the students for entry-level positions as wildland firefighters.

During a ceremony July 24 at the Lancaster campus, certificates were presented to:

    Im Trevor Adams the second person in line next to the Bc Hall i cant even see my self or Valencia and i stood right in front off the photographer but i Thank you for your acknowledgment It mean a whole lot. To Academy 12 Thank you guys and girl for all your help and i Love You All

    My brother Raul Ramirez has been helping to battle the Rocky Fire as of Sunday. Two weeks after graduating.
